The brand, founded by Jehan-Jacques Blancpain in 1735, is the oldest watch brand in the world. The watch manufacturer is based in Le Brassus, located in the Swiss Vallée de Joux. Blancpain is entirely dedicated to mechanical watchmaking.
Next to the production of individual components and the watch design itself, Blancpain is particularly characterized by the development of new and extraordinary watch movements. Since 2006, the Swiss manufacturer has produced 33 new calibers.
